Looking for a way to accelerate your progress? Be it skills, weight loss or personal growth, our personal training programs will take you there. Let's dive into the benefits of Personal Training
1. Fully Customised Program Each and everyone of our bodies are different. Here are some factors that differentiate each of us:
Having a Personal Trainer helps you to cut through all the overwhelming information that beats down on us. With many years of experience and having trained hundreds if not thousands of individuals, your personal trainer can give you professional advice to forge you towards your fitness goals. While it is true that no two programs are alike, there are similarities that can be identified. With a customised program, tweaks can be made along the way to ensure that you are on the right path to succeed! 2. Flexibility The fast-paced modern world constantly throws us curveballs. Just as soon as we deal with one, another hurls towards us in our blind spot when we least except it. Such curveballs represent the uncertainties of life that steal our attention and energy from our fitness goals. For example, just as soon as you are about to leave for your workout, your boss calls you in for an 'emergency meeting'. While it is indeed frustrating, many of us choose to prioritize our careers over fitness goal (which is completely understandable). It is for this reason that Personal Training can offer you the flexibility that you need. If your job requires requires you to work irregular hours or have a hectic schedule, Personal Training is the right fit for you. You don't have to stick to the group class work out schedule, and can exercise as-and-when you need. Expecting to leave work earlier tomorrow at 4pm? You can schedule a training session at 5pm instead of waiting till 7pm for the group class! Want to work out at lunch time between 12pm to 1pm? You can schedule a training session and head back to work after a quick lunch! These are some of the many advantages Personal Training offers you. 3. Accelerate Your Learning We all learn at a different pace. Some of us grasp concepts quicker, others require more time before fully understanding. With Personal Training, the pace of learning can be adjusted to your needs. Learning quick and want to learn more skills? Your qualified black belt instructors can teach you at a quicker pace. Want to focus more on the basics and fundamentals? We can run more drills to enhance learning concepts to strengthen your skills. Excerpt from the article: A safe space to workoutStraits Times - Active Zone, which offers non-combative kickboxing fitness and weight training, started out in 2008 as part of Active Red, a mixed-gender venue. It rebranded itself as an all-female facility in 2013 as more women were then taking up the sport, and it relocated from the Orchard Road area to Beach Road in 2019, says co-founder Valencia Yip. The 33-year-old represented Singapore at several kickboxing competitions in 2023. Active Zone is also the Singapore representative for the World Association of Kickboxing Organizations. Although the pandemic has eroded some of its female client base, which now stands at about 80, it has seen more Muslim women take up the sport in the last two years, notes Ms Yip. Active Zone also offers kickboxing for children. She says its all-white training space is less intimidating than other kickboxing venues, which usually have black as a dominant colour. Female clients also appreciate that there is no lingering smell of stale sweat, unlike in some other centres. From losing weight to feeling strongWomen who frequent these all-female gyms and fitness venues say their goals have changed as their bodies transformed.
Ms Sabeera initially enrolled at Active Zone to lose weight, but realised over the last four years that “it’s not about the number on the weighing scale, but rather the strength that you build over time”. “So my mindset has been more focused on improving my stamina. For instance, how many kicks can I do in a minute or how quickly or how well can I punch on a punching bag or with a partner. It’s really about becoming stronger as an individual,” she adds.
