Our Group Classes

Our Kickboxing group classes are conducted in groups of 10 to 20 people. This is to ensure you experience personalised attention from our trainer — and to facilitate your learning and mastering of proper Kickboxing techniques. 

Classes are structured according to 4 progressive levels — Introductory, Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced.

Group Introductory Session 
Your safety and wellbeing is most important to us — Introductory Sessions are mandatory for all new students. 

Our trainers will teach you the fundamentals of Kickboxing and the basic techniques needed to participate in our group sessions comfortably. This session is designed for all new Active Red clients, regardless of fitness levels and exercise backgrounds. 

There are unique differences in our Active Kickboxing Programs — equipment used, stances, class structure and terminology. Our trainer will also take this time to assess your current fitness level and exercise background. You will subsequently be advised on the appropriate class level to join — one that will best suit you.

Structured Group Sessions (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced) 
To enhance your class experience, we recommend that you book sessions according to your current fitness level. 

We offer wide range and variety of sessions per week for each level, giving you the flexibility to book sessions to fit your schedule. 

Once you have purchased our standard 24-session group package, you can book your sessions by contacting us. 

To ensure consistency and to help you remember your training day, we encourage you to fix your training day — for example, every Monday.

PAYMENT MATTERS

Kindly take note that all packages / memberships / sessions sold are STRICTLY NON-REFUNDABLE.

All payments to be made in full one week prior to commencement of classes.

Our Guidelines for our clients

  1. We would like to advise that for safety reasons and to uphold the quality of our classes, all newcomers would need to go through an introductory class before you can book your slots in the regular timings.
    * We DO NOT conduct theoretical kickboxing introductory classes. All kickboxing introductory classes are practical hands-on sessions. So GET READY TO SWEAT!!!
  2. All students are kindly requested to book classes at least one week in advance and to inform us if you are unable to attend the class booked for. In such cases, please give us a minimum of 36 HRS cancellation notice if you are unable to attend the class. Last minute cancellations / no shows / late attendance will be considered as a session completed.
  3. All students are kindly requested to phone in for advance bookings / cancellations of classes. Phone in bookings are necessary to guarantee students a confirmed slot in the class due to the growing number of students enrolled in our class.
  4. All sessions signed up for have to be completed within the time specified. Sessions not attended or completed will not be brought forward. Validity periods are as follows:

    • Group Class Packages validity as follows;
         
    - 24 sessions valid for 24 weeks / 6 months
         
    - 36 sessions valid for 36 weeks / 9 months
         
    - 48 sessions valid for 48 weeks / 12 months

    • Personal Training (and Buddy Personal Training) valid as follows;
         
    - 10 sessions valid for 10 weeks / 3 months
         
    - 20 sessions valid for 20 weeks / 6 months
         
    - 30 sessions valid for 30 weeks / 9 months

    • Small Group Training valid as follows;
         
    - 10 sessions valid for 10 weeks / 3 months
         
    - 20 sessions valid for 20 weeks / 6 months
         
    - 30 sessions valid for 30 weeks / 9 months

  5. All students are kindly requested to arrive 10 mins prior to the commencement of the classes as all classes will commence on time – studio bookings are made by the hour.
  6. Participation in the class will not be allowed 10 mins after the class has commenced. In such a situation, students will be doing it at their own risk.
  7. All students are kindly requested to sign up for sessions at the beginning of the month or prior to the commencement of the sessions/packages purchased.

Your Gear

Active Red provides: 
  • Boxing gloves 
  • Inner linings for boxing gloves 
  • Handheld punching pads/punch gear 
  • Handheld kicking pads/kicking gear 
  • Rubber Resistance Tubing 
  • Agility Ladders 
  • Mini Dumbbells 
  • Medicine Balls

You bring: 
  • T-shirts / Sports Top (no revealing tank tops or racerback allowed)
  • Tights or track pants (¾ length or more - no FBTs or shorts allowed)
  • Track shoes with sports socks
  • Water bottle
  • Towel (both bath and sweat)

Duration of each class: 
1 hour

As shower facilities are not available, you may want to bring extra towels for wipe downs after class.
