Not the "skip class for a month" kind of rest, but purposeful rest that allows your body to recharge. Here's how to recognise when your body needs a break, and what you can do to reset. 1. Constantly Groggy If your usual 7-8 hours of sleep aren't helping, and you still feel sluggish and tired throughout the day, that could be a sign your body is fatigued. Your body needs more than sleep, it needs a break from stress. What To Do: Take a rest day, or switch to low-intensity active recovery like stretching, or take a light walk in the park. This lets your body reset while keeping the habit of moving. 2. Easily Irritated Exercise boosts mood, but overtraining can swing your mood the other way. Feeling snappy, anxious, unable to focus? These can be signs your mental well-being needs a timeout. What To Do: Do something that you enjoy, something that brings you peace. Indulge in your hobbies, try breathing exercises, visit a spa, or simply disconnect from the screens. 3.
