Kickboxing is a martial art. It's empowering, effective and one of the most addictive workouts out there.

However, there are a lot of myths floating around that hold people back from giving it a try.

When you picture Kickboxing, you might think of a violent fight between two seasoned athletes. However, that isn't always the case, and we're here to set the record straight!

1. Kickboxing is too Aggressive.
Kickboxing isn't all aggressive. It's about learning control, building strength, mastering techniques, and simply having fun.

And at our studio, we offer a supportive female-friendly environment where you can learn at your own pace and feel completely comfortable whilst training.

2. You Have to be Fit!
While it does help, you don't need to get fit before even trying Kickboxing. You get fit through it!

Everyone starts somewhere, whether you're a total beginner or haven't exercised in a while. Our sessions are made to meet you where you are, to help you grow!

3. Just Punches and Kicks
Kickboxing is a full-body workout that blends strength, cardio, balance and coordination. It trains your body and your mind.

From complicated combinations to conditioning drills, every session builds endurance and, above all, confidence.

Furthermore, nothing beats landing the perfect punch. Kickboxing helps you let loose, release tension and stress. Leaving you refreshed!

4. It's Intimidating
Not at our Studio! Active Zone is built on community, and not competition. Our instructors are here to guide you, not judge you.
